Ella has a New Baby Cousin

 We have a nephew!  My sister, Kalee (click her name!), had had her baby and it was a boy!  Callan Emerson Stahr was born on March 19!  Ella and I flew back to meet him on the 26th and we just love him to pieces.  Here are a few pics of the cousins so far!

Best Friends Forever

Of course, right before we left California, Ella made a BFF.  Her friends name is Scarlet Jane....and she is the cutest little thing ever.  And when the two of them get together they are even cuter!  :)  Now, while the babies were becoming best friends us mommies were doing the same.  Needless to say, it was incredibly hard to leave Rebekah and Scarlet in CA.  Trying not to think of it was how I coped but it didn't really work.  We both decided God put us in each other's lives for a reason.  Maybe we'll meet again at another base or maybe we'll just stay in touch really well because we have baby girls a month apart.  It's hard to know why but Ella and I are very thankful for the time we did share with them in California.  

Her hubby is hopefully doing some training in San Antonio while we are still here so we're holding out for that to see them again!  We are already planning a trip to Sea World with the girls if they make it down!  We CAN'T WAIT!

Oh and Happy Birthday Rebekah!  I miss you!

More 7 Months

I had to share these pictures because they are too darling not to.  They are all the ones I snapped of her while I was taking the 7 month photos.  I didn't do anything to these they are sooc.  Enjoy!

7 Months

favorite toy=sophie-Ella loves Sophie the giraffe.  Mostly because she loves to chew on him.  He's a teether and even though there are still no teeth, she loves chomping on him...or her, I guess, the name is sophie....hah
still waking during night--she is still not sleeping through the night.  She wakes up at least twice to eat.  I am beginning to think part of it's habit and we might have to have a couple cry-it-outs in order to get her past this.  We are also trying to feed her more through the day to see if that helps.
attention getter-literally, everywhere we go we have people gawking at how cute she is.  It's very nice to hear, we are flattered.  I just plug Ella's ears.  ;)
Sitting up-she's been sitting up for a while now but she just loves sitting up and has gotten so much better at it since last month.
chomper of the fingers-it's the teeth thing again
no crawling...but trying-she has scooted backwards a few times and done a few 180's but isn't there yet
6 states in 3 days-Ella was in California then Nevada then Utah then Wyoming then Nebraska...ok I lied, 5 states but then the next week went through Kansas then Oklahoma then Texas so all together 8 in about a week and 3 days....pretty impressive.  haha!
Thee best rider in the car--36+hours-She didn't fuss once from CA to NE.  It was unbelievable.  I was definitely impressed.
Eating 2-3 times daily-I feed her solids up to 3 times a day.  She loves it...she gets very excited and flaps her little arms.  She is doing very well with her solids.

7 Months

Once again, we are a little late on this post.  She's seven months!  A lot has changed for us this past month-we are now in Texas and loving everything except for our current living situation.  A one bedroom apt is not ideal but we are making the best of it since we get to go home to NE when Cousin Baby (my sister's baby) arrives.

I also don't have the white rug which I take all of Ella's pictures on...it's currently in a long term storage facility in California...so we found a couple cheap small rugs for E to play on and they are white too...so it works!  :)  I would hate to screw up my monthly picture taking of Ella!  haha!  But seriously.  :)  The lighting is another struggle but I seem to have made it work ok for the time being.  You'll have to hang in there with me until we get to Mississippi in July and can set up our house again!
