Plane Ride

Well we have made it back to Texas! The flights went amazing--besides my ear almost blowing up...ok, just a huge pop from pressure--but holy smokes I've never had that happen before. Anyway-they went great! El was...perfect for lack of a better word. I've now decided that Saturday afternoons will be my travel day if my sched is flexible. Two flights with the row to ourselves was FABULOUS! And it wasn't just because no one wanted to sit by the girl with the baby-haha-literally everyone had a row to themselves.

Ella slept on the first flight and then played and ate like-i kid you not-a bajillion snacks on the second.

She went right to Kyle when we saw him! She had a face like she knew him but couldn't quite place him. But soon enough she was cackling away at her funny dada!

Insta Friday

It's Friday! We leave to go back to Texas tomorrow and therefore am very sad to leave (even though we've been here for 5 weeks) but very excited to see the man picking us up at the airport! I'm anxious to see what Kyle thinks of all her changes!

Ella and Aunt Whitney

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to get the best pictures (I mean on my nice camera) of the two of these silly girls but these photos are still good! We have been able to see Aunt Whitney a couple times while we've been home. But NOT ENOUGH! With her being in Lincoln and E having a bedtime it makes it hard to spend time together....however we have absolutes LOVED every second we've seen her!

Side note...Ella will be in her first wedding come August 17 as Aunt Whitney's flower girl! AHHH! She will be so so cute! Can't you just picture her walking down the aisle in a tutu with that huge smile on her face?!?!.....well, that's if everything goes perfect! I'm just hoping for no tears and no running the other direction like I did when I was a little girl! :)  We LOVE YOU Aunt Whitney and are so so so happy for you and Trent!  Can't wait for your big day!

Missing Daddy

Ella has been missing her daddy while we have been back in NE.  It will have been a total of 5 weeks that we have been gone by the time we go back.  We get to FaceTime with him at least once a day if not more.  Thank you technology advancements!  Every morning when we wake up we talk about daddy and all the fun things we do with him.  So today Ella and I were talking about what we would do with dada when we get back and we kept thinking about the day we went to the playground behind where we live in TX.     

Ella, actually, wasn't really interested in the swings to be completely honest.  She could have cared less.

Since she wasn't in love with the swings we tried the slide....wasn't really impressed with that either.  haha

So, for some reason this video is sideways.  No clue how to fix it.  Just Ella laughing at her funny daddy!

Gram Gram & E

We have been really spoiled being able to spend so much time at Grandpa and Gram Gram's house.  (Thank you, Kyle!)  Ella has LOVED being at their house.  I love being able to capture photos of them....so many great memories to have. Gram Gram has played and played and played with her a lot over these past few weeks and El is loving it so much!

Ba Ba Baaa

Ella has been talking more and more every day.  She is learning to actually make sounds rather than just noise, if you know what I mean.  It is so so darling watching and listening to her talk.  One of those many things that is just absolutely amazing.  Here are two videos I was able to get over her talking away.  

8 Months

And yes, we are almost a month behind but we've been busy snuggling up with our new nephew/cousin Callan.   Here are 8 month pictures!

No More Swaddle-Ella is no longer sleeping in her swaddle.  I was worried it would be a hard transition for her but it was pretty easy.  She just found out she likes to move a lot during the night.  She is also preferring to sleep on her side.  It's pretty cute.

Favorite toy-Sit to Stand Toy--This is the toy El got from Grandpa and Gram Gram for Christmas.  She sits up to it and just plays away.  She has also learned she is strong because she can pull it on top of her self if she is pulling too hard.  :)

Kisses Galore--We have a kisser!  She just is such a lover-she gives us wide-open mouth slobbery wet kisses all the time!

Sleeping through the Night--We had a couple nights of crying it out (which only really ended up being maybe 30 minutes total of crying) so she will sleep through the night.  She now is sleeping through until about 5 or 6am and then I feed her.  She usually goes back to sleep until about 7:30 or 8.

Loving Texas--Ella and I are becoming quite fond of Texas.  We like to go out on little adventures everyday whether it be a local coffee shop, the park,  or do a little shopping.  We are really enjoying it.

Finally Rolling (all the way) Over--She did it!  We got to Grandpa and Gram Gram's and put her on their huge living room floor covered in carpet and within a day or two of being there she was 'on the roll'!

Is a Big Cousin--Has a new baby boy cousin, Callan Emerson Stahr.
